Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has claimed victory in the Bahrain Grand Prix as he edged out Kimi Raikkonen to extend his lead at the top of the Drivers' Championship.
The 30-year-old started on pole but was forced to overcome braking issues to finish four seconds ahead of the Ferrari driver with a time of 1.35:05 to clinch his second successive victory in Bahrain.
An error from Nico Rosberg allowed Raikkonen to pass him as both Mercedes struggled with braking issues, with the German finishing third just ahead of Williams' Valtteri Bottas.
Sebastian Vettel made an error which forced him into making an unscheduled pit stop to replace the nose on his car and as a result he finished in fifth place in a time of 1.35.49.
Red Bull duo Daniel Ricciardo and Daniel Kvyat both finished in the top 10 to earn point as the Australian placed in sixth, while Kvyat earned two points with a ninth-placed finish.
