A last-gasp effort from Nico Rosberg has seen the German snatch pole position away from his teammate at the British Grand Prix this afternoon.
As rain fell during the top 10 shootout, the Mercedes duo set the pace early on, with Lewis Hamilton having the advantage over Rosberg.
However, the championship leader was able to find more pace in the final moments of the session, while Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel posted the second-fastest time.
McLaren's Jenson Button completed the top three, also setting his quickest time late in qualifying, while Nico Hulkenberg of Force India joins him on the second row.
Hamilton came into the pits rather than completing a lap late on, resulting in him slipping to sixth.
Meanwhile, Ferrari and Williams's chances of securing pole position were dashed after Q1, having been caught out by a shower late in the session.
Their mistake allowed both Marussia cars to progress, with Jules Bianchi finishing 12th just ahead of teammate Max Chilton, although the Briton will drop back five places after changing his gearbox earlier today.
