Nico Rosberg fastest in second practice

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg records the fastest time in the second practice session ahead of the Italian Grand Prix.

Nico Rosberg has registered the quickest time in the second practice session ahead of this Sunday's Italian Grand Prix.

The Mercedes driver, who ended the morning session in third position, edged out teammate and championship rival Lewis Hamilton with Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen finishing behind them.

Fernando Alonso ended Friday behind his teammate in fourth, with Williams driver Valtteri Bottas and McLaren's Jenson Button in fifth and sixth respectively.

Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo, who is in third position in the drivers' standings, could only register the 10th-fastest time.
