Mercedes and Pirelli will learn the verdict of their controversial tyre test in Spain tomorrow following a hearing in Paris today.

The verdict over the controversial tyre test between Mercedes and Pirelli will be announced by FIA's international tribunal tomorrow.

A hearing took place in Paris today following complaints made by both Red Bull and Ferrari after Mercedes used a 2013 car to help Pirelli in a 1,000km test after the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.

Neither Pirelli nor Mercedes informed the other teams of the three-day test, which prompted their rivals to insist that the testing should have been done with a car that was at least two years old.

The FIA have accused both parties of breaking the rules as they did not receive official permission by the governing body to carry out the test.

Both sides protested their innocence in the hearing today.
