Lewis Hamilton has taken the lead in the Formula 1 championship after winning the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in a chaotic finish to a race that saw both Red Bulls collide with each other.
Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas was on course to win in Baku after Mercedes took advantage of a late safety car to move ahead of Sebastian Vettel's Ferrari.
However, Bottas suffered a puncture while Vettel lost three places at the restart after locking up trying to overtake for the lead, setting Hamilton up for a straightforward victory.
The race had resumed with five laps remaining after Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo collided following a race-long battle in which the teammates had already twice made contact.
Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari finished second ahead of Force India's Sergio Perez, while Hamilton has a first win since last October's US Grand Prix and now boasts a four-point championship lead over Vettel.
