Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso had admitted that it will be very difficult to beat Michael Schumacher's five successive World Championship wins.
The 30-year-old has two world titles to his name, equalling Schumacher's title haul at the same age.
Schumacher went on to win a further five titles in successive seasons for Ferrari though and Alonso faces a big task to match the feat.
The Spaniard said: "These days F1 is so competitive, so close. It is very difficult to see a dominant period as Ferrari had with Michael, so seven will be a record that will stay for many, many years."
Alonso is currently fourth in the World Drivers' Championship, 86 points behind leader and reigning champion Sebastian Vettel.
