Nico Hulkenberg makes Force India return

Force India confirm that Nico Hulkenberg will return to the team next season.

Force India have confirmed that Nico Hulkenberg will return to the team next season.

The 26-year-old German joined the Britain-based outfit in 2011 before leaving for Sauber ahead of the 2013 campaign.

Hulkenberg, who finished in 10th place last season, has signed a "multi-year deal" with the team.

"I am happy to come back to Sahara Force India," he told Force India's official website.

"The team is aiming high for next year and I believe that the experience I have gained over the years will help us achieve those goals.

"I genuinely believe we can have a competitive package in 2014."

Hulkenberg has failed to make it onto the podium in any of his previous 58 races in Formula 1.
