Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel recorded his first victory of the season by leading from start to finish at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver finished ahead of Lotus duo Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean, who completed the podium.
It was a poor day for McLaren's British pair Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button as the former could only place eighth while Button pulled out of the race late on after a left rear puncture.
Pole-sitter Vettel held off an aggressive Hamilton on the first corner and then remained composed to lead comfortably throughout.
Only when Raikkonen overtook Grosjean on lap 24 to slot in behind Vettel in second was the German's lead threatened.
However, the two-time world champion blocked the Finn's advances to cross the line for his and Red Bull's first victory of the campaign.
