Mark Webber says that he has driven well so far this season.

Red Bull racer Mark Webber believes that he has driven well so far this season despite sitting 40 points behind leader Sebastian Vettel in the drivers' standings.

The Australian has accumulated 32 points so far this campaign, that included a second-placed finish at the Malaysian Grand Prix following an infamous clash with teammate Vettel.

Webber, who finished seventh in Bahrain on Sunday having endured a three-place grid penalty, is happy with his performance so far this year.

"I think I had good momentum over the winter and drove well in the first three races," Webber told Autosport.

"China was disappointing but apart from that I'm pretty happy with my performances."

"I don't think I've ever had a good result around that track, so that's a bit of a bogey circuit. But we're going to get to Europe, regroup, and go get them."

The next race is the Spanish Grand Prix, which takes place in Barcelona next month.
