Logan Sargeant appears to be stepping away from motorsport entirely after losing his Formula 1 seat at Williams.
The 24-year-old American endured two tough seasons at the British outfit, struggling to match teammate Alex Albon in both 2023 and 2024 before ultimately being replaced by Franco Colapinto midway through last season.
After his F1 exit, Sargeant had lined up a new challenge in endurance racing, securing a seat with IDEC in the LMP2 category of the European Le Mans Series.
However, that plan has now collapsed, with IDEC confirming he has withdrawn from racing altogether.
"Following the decision of Logan Sargeant to step away from the sport to pursue other interests, (IDEC) and Genesis Magma Racing are taking note of his decision and will announce his substitute in the next few days," the team said in a statement.
"We wish Logan all the best in his future projects."
