Luke Donald has changed his preparation for this year's US Masters event by skipping the par-three mini-tournament that he won last year.
The English world number one has decided that he needs to focus on the main event, which begins on Thursday.
"It's just the fact that my focus is on winning the other one, not the par three, this year," said the 34-year-old.
"I probably will play it when my kids get a little bit older because I think it's a great experience to take out my daughters to come carry a few clubs around with me.
"That would be fun, but playing on greens that are not quite the same the afternoon before the first round doesn't seem the best preparation for me."
The first-round trios were announced earlier today. Donald will be joined in his opening round by American Nick Watney and fellow European Ryder Cup player Francesco Molinari.
