Rory McIlroy has gone into the clubhouse at one-under-par after day one of The Masters at Augusta.
The pre-tournament favourite kicked off with five consecutive pars before a bogey and a birdie on consecutive holes left him level at the turn.

A bogey on the 11th brought him back up to one-over, but birdies on the 13th and 15th saw him finish with a round of 71.
McIlroy is four shots behind current clubhouse leaders Justin Rose and Charley Hoffman, who ended their rounds on five-under.
Rose's compatriots Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood both carded rounds of 73, with the former suffering two double bogeys and two bogeys on the back nine after being two-under at the turn.
Elsewhere, Ernie Els has made a bright start to his round, while further back Tiger Woods has failed to find his stride on the front nine so far.
