Daniel Brooks has kept his place at the top of the leaderboard of the Nelson Mandela Championship, which has suffered from rain disruptions throughout the tournament.
Organisers decided to reduce the tournament to 54 holes due to the heavy downpours, and today's play was eventually suspended as the competition hopes to come to a close tomorrow before Mandela's funeral on Sunday.
Brooks, who completed 11 holes, has a one-shot lead at the top, but Jorge Campillo shot a round of 59 to leave him second in the standings, while Matthew Baldwin finished his round on 62 to take him to 11 under.
Oliver Bekker, Branden Grace and Dawie van der Walt are tied in fourth place.
