World number one Luke Donald's bid to top the PGA Tour money list took a blow on the second day of the Disney Classic in Florida.
The Englishman carded a one-under-par 71 to end the day five shots off the pace on seven-under.
Donald needs a top-two finish at the event to beat rival Webb Simpson, who is also on seven-under.
Elsewhere, Justin Leonard shares the lead with Korea's Bio Kim and Sweden's Henrik Stenson after he shot a nine-under 63 to finish on 12-under.
