Sir Nick Faldo has questioned Tiger Woods's future following the American's round of 85 at the Memorial Tournament.
Woods carded the worst round of his professional career on Saturday to leave him 12-over-par heading into the final day.
With the 39-year-old struggling to arrest his decline, Faldo is unsure where the former world number one can go from here.
"One of the players playing a practice round with Tiger heard him say four times [to his swing coach] 'okay, what am I trying now?' So they are just searching. It just doesn't look right," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"Shooting 85 here is a sledgehammer to the side of the head. Tiger is going to walk away saying to himself 'what am I going to do next? How do I pull this back?' I'm not too sure how much more he can handle in all of this."
England's Justin Rose currently holds a three-shot lead going into the final round of the tournament in Ohio.
