Emiliano Grillo has taken the lead after two rounds of the Perth international after holing an impressive round of 67.
Grillo, who at 20 is the second-youngest player in the European Tour, shot a pair of eagles to help him to an overall score of 11-under-par, four shots ahead of his nearest challenger.
Bo van Pelt and Jason Scrivener both sit second on seven-under, with the former matching Grillo's day total of 67.
Jason Dufner also shot a 67 to move up to joint third with six under but it was worse news for Paul Casey, who raced to seven-under within six holes before capitulating and ending the day on two-under.
Meanwhile, 2011 Masters winner Charles Schwartzel failed to make the cut after missing a five-foot putt for a birdie on the 18th.
