Justin Rose "happy" with position heading into weekend

Justin Rose says that he is happy with his position at the halfway stage of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.

Justin Rose has said that he is happy with his position in the Arnold Palmer Invitational despite an ugly finish to his second round at Bay Hill.

The 32-year-old is tied for the lead with Bill Haas, but could have been alone at the summit had he not three-putted the final hole.

"Up to [the 18th] it had been an exciting day, but the rain came and it changed the atmosphere," the Daily Mail quotes Rose as saying.

"But while the three-putt was jarring, I've got to be happy with my position going into the weekend."

John Huh is one shot off the leaders on eight-under.
