Sergio Garcia has seemingly revealed that he intends to play on the LIV Golf International Series in a rant aimed at a PGA Tour official.

Earlier this week, Lee Westwood defended his plan to feature in the Saudi Arabia-backed series ahead of the first event at the Centurion Club in Hertfordshire next month.

As it stands, few players have publicly acknowledged that they want to be a part of that competition, which does not have the support of either the PGA Tour or DP World Tour.

However, the Spaniard made his plans known while on the course at the Wells Fargo Championship having been left unhappy by a ruling from an official, who appeared to start the clock on his time to search for a ball too early.

In a one-sided exchanged on the 10th hole, Garcia said: "I can't wait to leave this tour. Can't wait to get out of here. Couple more weeks and I don't have to deal with you anymore."

Despite airing his grievances on a hole where he still made par, Garcia still posted an opening round of three-under-par.
