Bubba Watson has targeted success at the inaugural Shenzhen International this week in order to bounce back from his Masters disappointment.
The 36-year-old finished well off the pace at Augusta, some 19 shots adrift of winner Jordan Spieth, although the world number four has otherwise made a steady start to the year.
Watson is the highest-ranked player taking part in this week's tournament in China, and he is keen for a repeat performance of his World Golf Championships success in Shanghai last November.
"Back-to-back wins in China would be pretty special," the American is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "This is a great opportunity for me to come back to China and play in a new event.
"I'm looking forward to getting to Shenzhen and playing my part in making some history. It's all about preparing for that next major - maybe next year [at Augusta].
"You never know what situation you're going to have, what emotions you're going to have. You just always try to get better and prepare for the next time."
2014 Masters champion Watson has been grouped alongside Alexander Levy and Li Hao-tong for the opening round.
