Fabrizio Zanotti injured after getting hit on head by golf ball at KLM Open

Paraguay's Fabrizio Zanotti has been taken to hospital after getting struck on the head by a golf ball at the KLM Open in the Netherlands.

Play was suspended for half an hour while the 31-year-old received treatment on the course after he was hit on the 16th fairway during the first round.

Zanotti, who won the BMW International Open in June, was taken to hospital for further treatment.

The Paraguayan was level par after six holes at the Kennemer Golf Club when he was hit.
