World number one golfer Rory McIlroy has described his summer as unforgettable after securing back-to-back major victories.
The Northern Irishman won his first British Open title last month at Hoylake and followed that up with a one-shot victory in the US PGA Championship in Kentucky at the weekend.
McIlroy has now won four major titles at the age of 25 and is one Masters victory away from completing the career Grand Slam.
After his victory at Valhalla, McIlroy took to Twitter to express his joy and pay tribute to his team as they flew out to New York City.
