Keegan Bradley has recorded a second-round 66 to move four shots clear at the CIMB Classic in Malaysia.
After starting Friday's play in second place, the American hit seven birdies on the way to opening a sizable advantage over Ryan Moore.
First-round leader Moore could only produce a level-par round of 72, and the world number 45 is closely followed by Kiradech Aphibarnrat and Chris Stroud.
Sergio Garcia and Marc Leishman share fifth place, while Scotland's Martin Laird is a shot further adrift on six-under-par.
