Padraig Harrington has won the Portugal Masters by one shot to collect his first PGA Tour title in eight years.
The Irishman carded a 65 in the final round to come in at 23-under-par on day four, a score which proved just enough to edge out defending champion Andy Sullivan.
Harrington shot his third birdie of the week on the penultimate hole, with a par on the final leaving him just one shot ahead of Sullivan, who missed out on the chance to become the first golfer in history to successfully defend a Portugal Masters title.
Dane Anders Hansen and Finland's Mikko Korhonen were tied in third place, coming in two shots off the pace.
Harrington's last Tour success came in 2008 when he won the US PGA Championship.
