Chris Kirk cards last-round 66 to win the Deutsche Bank Championship

American Chris Kirk wins the Deutsche Bank Championship after carding a final-round 66 to win his third PGA Tour title.

Chris Kirk shot a final-round 66 to claim a two-shot victory in the Deutsche Bank Championship.

The 29-year-old produced a second successive bogey-free round at TPC Boston to finish the tournament on 15-under, two strokes clear of Billy Horschel, Geoff Ogilvy and Russell Henley.

It was Henley who held the overnight lead but Kirk, who began Monday tied for third with Rory McIlroy on 10-under, picked up five birdies en route to glory.

McIlroy finished further back on 11-under-par with John Senden.

The win represents Kirk's third PGA Tour victory and propels him to the summit of the FedEx Cup standings.
