Denmark's Thorbjorn Olesen claimed victory in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews this evening to secure his third European Tour title.
Olesen took a three-shot lead into the final day of the tournament in Scotland, and he was able to hang on to claim the crown with a final-day offering of a one-under-par 71 to finish on 18 under come the close of play.
The Dane's final score saw him edge second-placed American Brooks Koepka by two shots, while Chris Stroud finished a shot further back in third.
Away from Olesen's win, one of the standout performances of the day came from England's Chris Wood, who broke through to finish tied fourth after a memorable final round that saw him notch a seven-under 65.
