Inbee Park wins Olympic women's golf gold as Charley Hull just misses out on medals

South Korea's Inbee Park is the women's Olympic golf gold medallist after completing a five-shot victory in Rio, while Great Britain's Charley Hill just misses out on the medals.

South Korea's Inbee Park has won the women's Olympic golf tournament at the Rio Games.

The 28-year-old carded a final round of 66 to become the first woman since Margaret Abbott of the United States in 1900 to win an Olympic gold medal in the sport.

Park finished five clear of world number one Lydia Ko of New Zealand, who took silver, while China's Feng Shanshan sealed bronze, a shot further back on 10-under-par.

Great Britain's Charley Hull, meanwhile, carded a three-under-par round of 68 to finish tied for seventh on eight under, while compatriot Catriona Matthew finished on level par, 29th overall.
