Brett Stegmaier has earned a one-shot lead heading into the final round of the Shriners Hospital for Children Open in Las Vegas.
After bad light forced round two to be cut short, Stegmaier returned on Saturday morning to complete a second-round 66 and claim a share of the lead at the halfway stage.
It was just the start of an impressive day from the 32-year-old, who is playing in just his fifth PGA Tour event, as he carded a three-under-par 68 to reach 13-under for the tournament after 54 holes.
Morgan Hoffman is just one shot behind the leader, while Kevin Na, Jimmy Walker and Chad Campbell are one stroke further back.
The highlight of the day arrived courtesy of Alex Cejka, who made a hole-in-one on the 212-yard 17th in a 66 that moved him to 10-under alongside Nick Taylor, Jason Bohn and Cameron Tringale.
