Emiliano Grillo has earned the lead on the first day of the Canadian Open after carding a round of 64 at the Glen Abbey course in Oakville.
It was an impressive day on the greens for the 22-year-old Argentine, who birdied three of the course's four par-fives on the way to a bogey-free round of eight-under-par.
Brian Harman and Vaughn Taylor are Grillo's closest challengers on seven-under, while Erik Compton is one of four players a stroke further back.
Jason Day, who finished in a tie for fourth spot at The Open, started with a round of 68 and his score was matched by Bubba Watson.
