Northern Ireland's Michael Hoey leads the way at the Thailand Classic following an eight-under first-round 64 in Hua Hin.
Hoey came through the opening round unblemished after hitting eight birdies, three of which came consecutively on the front nine.
Hung Chien-yao, Carlos Pigem and David Lipsky are the closest challengers to Hoey's lead as they all sit just one shot behind following first-round 65s.
Spain's Pigem particularly impressed by carding two birdies and an eagle on the final three holes of the day.
