Ian Poulter in contention for third PGA Tour win

Ian Poulter sits one stroke behind leader Kevin Na ahead of the final round at the Crowne Plaza Invitiational in Texas.

England's Ian Poulter remains in contention for a third PGA Tour title after shooting 68 on Saturday to move one shot adrift of leader Kevin Na at the Crowne Plaza Invitational.

Poulter, whose last victory on the Tour came back in 2012, enjoyed a steady front nine with seven pars and two birdies, but a double bogey on 10 threatened his round.

However, the world number 31 recovered well with two more birdies - the second of which was a 32-foot putt on 15 - to move to 10-under par, one behind Na.

The American endured his worst round of the week, carding 69 after an impressive 64 and 66 on the first two days, but he retained a slender lead heading into the final day.

Charley Hoffman, who shot 66, is in close pursuit of Poulter on nine under, one clear of Brandt Snedeker and Chris Kirk - the latter of whom shot a 65.

Four players sit level on seven-under par - Rory Sabbatini, Brian Harman, Kevin Kisner and George McNeill - ahead of what promises to be a fiercely competitive final round in Texas.
