Team England duo Taeja James and Alice Kinsella have missed out on medals in the floor routine at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Kinsella had topped the podium on the balance beam a little over an hour prior to her routine, and looked on course to pick up another medal until she fell over on the landing of her final move.
Compatriot James also paid the price for mistakes in her routine, stepping out of bounds on two occasions on her way to a score of 12.666 - the second-lowest of the final ahead of only Kinsella's 11.666.
There was success for one of the home nations in the shape of Wales's Latalia Bevan, who shook off her own error-strewn routine on the beam earlier in the day to claim silver.
The final gymnastics event of the Commonwealth Games went the way of hosts Australia, though, with Alexandra Eade beating Bevan to gold by just 0.033 points.
Canada's Shallon Olsen - who won gold on the vault yesterday - completed the podium by finishing narrowly above compatriot and all-around gold medallist Elsabeth Black to pick up the bronze.
