Great Britain's women have fallen to a second handball defeat at the Olympics as Russia ran out convincing 37-16 winners at the Copper Box.
Team GB started promisingly but were always facing an uphill battle against the more experienced Russia side, who are the tallest team in the competition.
The medal favourites began to show their class as the first half came to a close as they took a 17-8 lead into the interval.
Russia's superiority was even more evident after the interval as they added 20 more points, despite the best efforts of GB keeper Sarah Hargreaves.
