New Zealand set up England semi-final

England will face New Zealand in the semi-finals of the women's hockey event at the Commonwealth Games after the Delhi runners-up thrashed Canada.

New Zealand have been confirmed as England's semi-final opponents in the women's hockey event at the Commonwealth Games.

The 2010 runners-up thrashed Canada 6-0 in their final pool game to set up a meeting with the English team, who beat Scotland 2-1 earlier.

Anita Punt scored two of New Zealand's five field goals, while Krystal Forgesson scored from a penalty corner.

The semi-finals take place on Friday.
