Marie-Philip Poulin's late strike has given Canada the gold medal in the women's ice hockey final at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi this evening.
The Canadians had trailed 2-0 in normal time to goals from Meghan Duggan and Alex Carpenter.
Brianne Jenner then halved the Americans' advantage before Poulin equalised to send the game into overtime.
The US were thwarted a number of times by Canada goalkeeper Shannon Szabados before Poulin grabbed the gold medal-winning goal.
