Sian Honnor: 'No more second chances for Team England'

Sian Honnor acknowledges that there will be no more second chances for Team England at the Commonwealth Games, but remains confident of progressing to the semi-finals.

Sian Honnor has insisted that Team England can progress through to the semi-finals of the women's triples event if they match their previous performance.

England put defeat to Papua New Guinea behind them by securing a 21-9 victory over Scotland earlier today to book their place in this evening's quarter-finals at the Commonwealth Games.

"We are really pleased," Honnor told reporters. "We knew we needed to win this morning in order to qualify from the group. I think we topped the group too, which is a bonus.

"It was a lot better game from us and we just need to do the same this afternoon. It's knockout now so there are no second chances, but we are feeling good."

England will meet Malaysia in the last eight of the competition.
