Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo has claimed that he retains hope of winning the MotoGP title with five races left to go.
The 28-year-old Spaniard is currently 23 points behind his teammate and leader Valentino Rossi, while defending champion Marc Marquez sits third, 63 points adrift of top spot.
"The only goal is to win - this does not mean being condemned to win them all, we must not go crazy and win at all costs, but it is important to get in front of Valentino, even if Marc is further ahead," Lorenzo told motogp.com. "There were two wet races, but in the dry I am stronger. If it does not rain again, the title is still possible."
The competitors will next race in Aragon on September 27.
