England level series 1-1 with Jamaica after power cut stops second Test

England level the series with Jamaica by winning the second Test 55-47, which was cut short when the stadium suffered a power cut.

England have levelled the Supreme Ventures Sunshine netball series by winning the second Test 55-47 against Jamaica.

Anna Mayes's side snatched victory when umpires were forced to end the contest after the National Indoor Sports Centre suffered a power cut.

One minute and 15 seconds were left on the clock when the stadium plunged into darkness, but England had already done enough to equal the three-Test series.

Jamaica had the edge heading into the contest having won the first Test 56-47 on Saturday, with goal shooter Jhaniele Fowler-Reid top-scoring with 19 goals from 25 attempts.

The deciding Test will be played on Tuesday.
