Mario Balotelli joins Twitter

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has joined social networking website Twitter.

The controversial Italian has had a number of fake and parody accounts set up in his name, but he has now entered the world of tweeting with the handle @FinallyMario.

Balotelli, 22, signed for Milan in January following a turbulent three years with former Premier League champions Manchester City.

However, he has been successful during his first four months in Serie A by scoring 11 goals in 12 games.
