Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has reportedly arranged for medical supplies to be taken to his hometown of Tocopilla in Chile after it was devastated by storms.
The Chile international, who played in the Gunners' 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at the weekend, has organised supply trucks to visit the area.
"He does not forget the land," mayor Fernando San Roman told La Tercera. "He wanted to be present and contacted us to send aid. We speak mainly of bottled water, some basic staples, warm clothes, among other things, and that is already in the region."
The storms have taken the lives of at least six people in Chile.
