Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone heads to Marbella with girlfriend

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone took a break from his side's pre-season preparations to enjoy the sun in Marbella with his girlfriend.

The 45-year-old and model Carla Pereira, who has been dating the La Liga coach for over a year, were spotted sunbathing and riding bikes around the town in southern Spain.

Simeone has witnessed his Atletico team secure a 2-0 win over Numancia in their first pre-season fixture, and a friendly against Real Oviedo is up next.

The 2014 La Liga champions will begin their campaign on August 22 against newly-promoted side Las Palmas.
