Jerome Boateng mocked on Wikipedia after Lionel Messi humiliation

The Wikipedia page of Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng is briefly changed to include a time of death following his humiliation by Lionel Messi in the Champions League.

Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng was humiliated ob social media last night when he fell foul to a wonder-goal from Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

The German player was left one on one with the four-time Ballon d'Or winner and ended up on the losing side as Messi scored his second at Camp Nou.

After the Champions League semi-final first leg, which ended 3-0 in Barca's favour, Boateng was roundly mocked for ending up on the floor while trying to stop Messi.

According to 101greatgoals.com, the 26-year-old's Wikipedia page was briefly altered to include his date of death and location, which appeared as 'Camp Nou, Barcelona, Spain'.

Wednesday night's match was the first time that Bayern boss Pep Guardiola returned to his former club in a competitive capacity.
