Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been accused of cheating on his girlfriend with Miss Belgium contestant Emily Vanhoutte.

The 20-year-old model has alleged that she and Courtois met prior to last year's World Cup and would meet at the Holiday Inn in Hasselt for sex.

Vanhoutte maintains that she was unaware that the 22-year-old footballer was in a relationship with Marta Dominguez, who met Courtois during his spell at Atletico Madrid from 2011 to 2014.

"I would never do anything to start an affair with a man who cheats on his girlfriend," the Daily Mail quotes Vanhoutte as saying. "I did not know he had a girlfriend and led a double life.

"He had seen me at a beauty pageant and sent me a message through Facebook. So we got talking, and one thing led to another. It took months before we arranged to meet up properly, and until then there was no mention about Marta.

"He'd taken the initiative, after all, so I assumed that he was single. Maybe naive of me, but if I'm in a relationship, I do not even talk to other men."

Vanhoutte has claimed that she is no longer in contact with Courtois and is in a new relationship.
