Frank Lampard: 'Christine Bleakley trusts me to organise our wedding'

Chelsea and England star Frank Lampard has revealed that his TV presenter fiancee, Christine Bleakley, has said that she would trust him to organise their wedding.

The couple had to put their wedding plans on hold this summer, as they did not know whether the midfielder would be staying in Britain, and they now plan to tie the knot after next summer's World Cup.

In an interview for The Jonathan Ross Show, the 35-year-old said: "We're not going to have a huge celebrity wedding. We're going to have close family and we're planning that at the minute.

"Christine watches [BBC 3's Don't Tell The Bride] where men plan. The men always choose ridiculous venues and things and she said, 'I would trust you Frank, to do it'."

The pair have been dating since meeting at the Pride of Britain Awards in 2009.
