Frank Lampard, Christine Bleakley to marry this year

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is to marry TV presenter Christine Bleakley some time this year, according to his fiancee.

The 34-year-old has been putting off his wedding plans due to the uncertainty surrounding his career with the Blues.

"We've certainly known all along that 2013 would be the year," Bleakley told The Mirror's Sunday magazine. "But anyone who knows anything about football will understand we have not known what was going on with Frank.

"A lot depended on what was going to happen with the whole Chelsea thing. But we'll definitely marry at some stage this year."

Bleakley also claimed that she intends to marry the England international in her native Northern Ireland.
