Jose Mourinho responds to young Aston Villa fan asking him to be manager

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has responded to a young Aston Villa fan who sent the Portuguese coach a letter asking him to be the manager of his club.

Six-year-old Jude Branson wrote to the self-proclaimed 'Special One' prior to Paul Lambert's sacking asking him to turn Villa's fortunes around.

The youngster may not have got his wish, but he did receive a personalised signed photo of Mourinho.

Jude's father Phil told the Birmingham Mail: "The only thing he wanted from his letter was Mourinho to take over at Villa.

"He didn't get that, so the next best thing for him is definitely this acknowledgement from the man himself. It'll be framed and put on his bedroom wall."

Managerless Villa are currently third from bottom in the Premier League table.
