Jose Mourinho vows to become a pundit

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has vowed to become a pundit when he retires in order to defend the Blues on television.

Many pundits criticised referee Howard Webb's performance during yesterday's match between Chelsea and Liverpool, claiming that Luis Suarez should have been awarded a penalty in the second half after an off-the-ball tackle from Samuel Eto'o.

However, Mourinho disagrees with that argument and hinted that there was media bias against Chelsea due to a lack of the club's ex-players making it as pundits.

"There are lots of people on TV, but nobody is a Chelsea man. [Jamie] Carragher, Liverpool. [Phil] Thompson, Liverpool. [Jamie] Redknapp, Liverpool. [Gary] Neville, Manchester United," Mourinho told reporters.

"We don't have one. When I retire, 75 years old, I go as a pundit to defend Chelsea on television."

Chelsea came from behind the win the match 2-1, leaving themselves just two points off the top of the Premier League table.
