BBC quiz show Pointless attracted more viewers than England's Euro 2016 qualifier on Saturday evening.
The Three Lions came from a goal down to secure a 3-1 victory over Slovenia in front of an 82,000-strong Wembley crowd.
Despite England's 100% record in the qualifying campaign, the match, which was aired on ITV, attracted a peak audience of 6.3m people, while a celebrity version of Pointless raked in 7.26m, according to the Daily Mail.
Vanessa Feltz, Louie Spence and Penny Smith were among the famous faces taking part in the quiz show at the weekend.
