England scout Alan Cork has admitted that he feared for his life when terrorists struck Paris in a series of attacks on the French capital last Friday.
Cork was attending the international friendly between France and Germany at the Stade de France, where three suicide bombers blew themselves up.
The carnage occurred outside of the stadium, while attacks in five other locations, including the Bataclan theatre, took place on the same night.
"We [were] like fish in a barrel," Cork told The Sun. "I was wondering if I would get out of there alive. You put a brave face on it but inside I was frightened, I can't deny it.
"People were desperate to get out because we hearing these stories of men with machine guns trying to get in and even that there had been a chemical attack. All sorts of thoughts were running through my head, about my wife, my kids."
The attackers killed 129 people.
