Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has helped NBC advertise their coverage of the upcoming season by starring in a video alongside fictional football manager Ted Lasso.
Lasso, who is played by actor and comedian Jason Sudeikis, was introduced by NBC last summer as Tottenham Hotspur's new head coach.
This time, however, the character, who is clueless about the sport, has been invited to work for the US network for their coverage of the new Premier League season.
During the film, Lasso gets drunk with a group of Arsenal supporters and claims that he has a better understanding of who shot former president John F Kennedy than the offside rule during a conversation with Everton's Howard.
