Evian TG striker Nicki Bille Nielsen is reportedly in danger of being hit with an eight-year prison sentence for allegedly biting a police officer.

The 27-year-old has been charged with violent behaviour following an incident that occurred in Copenhagen during Neilsen's year-long spell as a Rosenborg player.

According to French daily Le Dauphine Libere, Nielsen, who allegedly bit the officer after he was arrested, could be handed a lengthy prison sentence when he appears in court in Denmark on Thursday.

Nielsen joined Evian last year.
